Peggy Hughes is the Programme Manager at Literary Dundee (no. 28 in the List Magazine’s Hot 100 2014), which involves directing the Dundee Literary Festival (October), managing the Dundee International Book Prize alongside many other projects and publications. Peggy sits on various boards and steering groups, sometimes judges literary prizes and edits magazines. She also co-founded Electric Bookshop and the West Port Book Festival. Hear more about these projects, how Peggy manages to juggle all of her commitments and learn how you can build a varied and colourful career in Publishing.

Marion Sinclair is Chief Executive of Publishing Scotland, the development body for the book publishing industry in Scotland. She began her career at Polygon, a publishing house set up by the students of Edinburgh University which was owned at that time by Edinburgh University Press, before moving on to lecturing and business development. Come and hear from Marion on her career to date and her top tips for getting work in the sector.
